Not sure how much you will be seeing me in these next few months.  I just found out my Mother-In-Law who I live with and who has been like a mom to me.  Has been given just a few month left to live because of mouth cancer.   Needless to say my near future is going to be a bit chaotic.

This whole situation has been untenable.  Much as I know how necessary it was to remove Jimmy Stone from the time line, I don't find any real satisfaction in my actions; I lost control, nearly killing the creep when I saw how badly he had treated my Rose.

Chapter 41 -    Consequences
I know Theta doesn’t like it when he has to make decisions based on avoiding a paradox and I sympathize, but he needs Rose and Rose definitely needs him now, well then.  I am not keen on the idea of him going by himself but he is so stubborn, and he won't listen to me when I suggest he take Jack with him.  ( Read more... I am now sitting on hold for the 11th time trying to get the "It's easy to do, it will only take about 15 minutes to set up" cable box at this point it's 9 hours & counting, OBVIOUSLY they are using the same dictionary from which the doctor got his definition of impossible.

Update
Well after another hour, 1 telephone answering service and 3 people later I have a technician scheduled to come out on Saturday, supposedly with correct box in hand to get me finally set up. Here's hoping it goes better then.

Chapter 37 - The Garden

I watch in hopeful anticipation to see how exactly Theta, Rose and Doris will get along. Rose and Doris, I am sure, will get on just fine. I am worried about my Theta though; I knew from the moment we first discussed this trip it was going to be hard on him for many, many reasons, not the least of which will be him actually reentering our garden after so long. I have tended it as I can, but many of the trees and shrubs need proper pruning and, much as I have been loathe to remind him, it will need to be addressed. The animals pretty much take care of themselves grazing and as long as I encourage them to rotate their feeding grounds with selective force fields, no single area is overgrazed. Still, it needs his care and he has refused to enter since Gallifrey was destroyed.

Chapter 36 - Revelations & Reactions

It was cowardly of me to leave Rose and Doris alone like that but I know Doris will be able to express to Rose, just by being herself, far better than a thousand words on my part – it’s why I have chosen to bring her to meet Doris out of all those I have known over the years. I know it will be impossible for it not to come out why and when I was here last, which I both hope for and dread at the same time.

Chapter 35 -  A Visit with a Friend
It doesn’t take much to persuade Jack that we have reconsidered his idea of spending some time on the pleasure planet that he had mentioned yesterday and we probably will spend some time there, just not immediately. I promised Rose that I would take her to meet someone from my past and as I had promised Doris I would show her the TARDIS gardens the last time I had been there, it strikes me as the perfect way to take care of both promises at once. I have so much to thank her, Alistair and Harry for, because if it hadn’t been for them I would never have had the chance to meet Rose.

A/N: Okay not sure where this one crawled out of, or if I will do anything more with it but I think it would make something interesting in terms of a series. Okay I admit I am toying with the idea. I swore I actually would never write this pair but well plot bunnies be weird some times and the intriguing thought came what would the results be if the master hadn’t died at the end of last of the Time Lords.
