Other Me Writer Fiction Index

Well, after a ruff and stormy period here I am trying to get back into the swing of things.  As I am still totally blocked on the messy timey whimy bit in Part 3 so I am again going to jump ahead and see if I can break the log jam by working on Part 4 for a bit.  It appears that I quit posting in part 4 at 11b and I realize as I am reviewing the text I have stored that I have up to part 16 written. So I am going to send the 12-16 off to my most wonderful and patient Beta Lostwolf and as she has time, I will again start posting part 4 and hope you will forgive me for the time jumps. For a listing of the chapters you can go here. With a bit of luck working on this sequence will help me re-spark my part 3 muse so I can get the 8th & 9th doctor piece of that written.

A question for my most wonderful F-List.  Anyone out there know anything about Eugene Oregon USA with regard to finding jobs in the Accounting / IT arena?  I am going to have to move and I am liking the housing prices there (as well as a number of other things) but I have to be able to get a job.  Ideas? 

Life has been a bit crazy lately and may be for a bit yet and all of my writing muses have run away.  So no I haven't fell off the planet just it might seem like that for a bit.

Title: Chapter 43 - Rest & Relaxation

A/N: Writing is going even slower then normal due to the family issues and I am not really able to write much in the evenings.  I am pretty sure my MIL had a small stroke on Monday, she seems to have bounced back but she still is no better and is still sleeping far too many hours.  Now the hubby has a cold so now have to "baby" sit them both, the plus side is that with both of them sleeping I have a chance maybe to get some writing done this weekend which considering the way this chapter ends may keep you from lynching me.

I never expected such fantastic accommodations; not that he hasn’t taken me nice places before but I just wasn’t expecting it to be quite so posh. The second thing I notice is the shape of the room.

“What’s with the odd shape?” I ask as I indicate the walls.

Not sure how much you will be seeing me in these next few months.  I just found out my Mother-In-Law who I live with and who has been like a mom to me.  Has been given just a few month left to live because of mouth cancer.   Needless to say my near future is going to be a bit chaotic.

This whole situation has been untenable.  Much as I know how necessary it was to remove Jimmy Stone from the time line, I don't find any real satisfaction in my actions; I lost control, nearly killing the creep when I saw how badly he had treated my Rose.

Chapter 41 -    Consequences
I know Theta doesn’t like it when he has to make decisions based on avoiding a paradox and I sympathize, but he needs Rose and Rose definitely needs him now, well then.  I am not keen on the idea of him going by himself but he is so stubborn, and he won't listen to me when I suggest he take Jack with him.  ( Read more... I am now sitting on hold for the 11th time trying to get the "It's easy to do, it will only take about 15 minutes to set up" cable box at this point it's 9 hours & counting, OBVIOUSLY they are using the same dictionary from which the doctor got his definition of impossible.

Update
Well after another hour, 1 telephone answering service and 3 people later I have a technician scheduled to come out on Saturday, supposedly with correct box in hand to get me finally set up. Here's hoping it goes better then.
